Style Diaries-Bags-Jaipur Literature Festival 2014

                                            Photographs by Abhimanyu Singh Rathore
Here comes the power of quilted bag ,here adding a texture to her clean styled look .
Loved the entire image ,the clutch and the sleeve details. The sleeve has Indian wear details and the clutch is totally western and it looks amazing when styled together.( will post the image of this whole outfit designed by my friend Gargi Jain in
my next post)

I am not much a fan of such 'jhola bags' (maybe am very used to it as I live in city like Jaipur)
Loved the entire look and the styling makes the bag a stand out piece.
The kutch kadai ,this craft  is getting popular after Deepika Padukone starer RAM LEELA.
A toon print with a tribal or aztec printed bag looks very kitschy.
Pop art is getting very popular these days, especially on Tshirts, bags and even shoes. Motifs derived from India's popular culture looks really quirky.
The pop effect with dots and London print bag.

Style Diaries-Saree-Jaipur Literature Festival

Pictures and text by-Abhimanyu Singh Rathore

Jaipur Literature Festival 2014 saw a lot of Indian ladies adorning handloom silk sarees (like always, especially at event such as JLF) apart from them I tried capturing women who carried the 6 yard with different styles and accessories.
Open hairs, sunglasses on, somehow reminds me of Anju Mahendru from movie 'Page 3'.
The lady paired the saree with loafers. Isn't it cool?

                                                                This is so feminine.
There is always sort of bold appeal when a Bengali women carries a saree especially with that red Bindi.
She looks like a complete 'diva' or maybe a modern princess.
Now this is something really rocking a fur jacket with saree pallu over it . Did you noticed the border?

I liked the complete style especially that bag grabs my attention. The shawl, saree and bag makes a whole story looks like from the same family.

Style Diaries -Men-Jaipur Literature Festival 2014

Pictures and text by -Abhimanyu Singh Rathore
Jaipur Literature Festival is always a perfect blend of stylish people which includes people who really care of style and fashion and also those who are completely carefree.Though I was hoping to capture more 'alag hatke' people but still managed to click few of the stylish men of JLF 2014.

As i entered Jlf on day 1 , saw the workers in neon green jacket and it was so flattering to see more colors on such a colorful festival which colored tents and backdrops everywhere. These workers styled the jacket with their 'gamchas' and shawls. I liked the red checked gamcha with neon jacket.
It's time to get little divine(through dressing offcourse, just remove those socks)

A grey jacket with good layering of colors inside seems a good idea and it worked with that beard.

The kurta looked really nice especially because of that little embroidery work on sleeve area.

Patched fabric over denim worked well with this guy pairing it with a red cap.

Most of the delegates were taking pictures of 'chai walas' wearing pagdi, stole, kurta and dhoti.

The deadlock reminds me of Indian sadhus at Kumbh everytime.
This guy was selling pure silk handlooms from Bengaluru loved his whole attire.

A sport mix look paired well with those shoes and yes the bag makes the picture interesting.
The denim jacket always looks very verve, I think for girls there is LBD as last option if anything doesn''t work on them same I think for boys/men Denim works . It increases the macho appeal.

A group of people were seen flaunting those nehru caps, it looked cool.

A harley Davidson Jacket means a guy is adventurous and totally carefree , so as this old men.

I would like to wear a colored version of this though I loved grey here too.

That's really a wow idea when I saw it first very very ISHTAILISH.

Actor Irfan Khan can be the next Arjun Khanna or Arjun Khanna in process.
This guy completely wins my award of stylish men spotted at JlF though I thought I would get more men in experimental attire like him.Liked the styling with a bow tie, printed shirt, denim, colored stole and leather jacket and off-course that green bag and those aviators.

A nude colored Jacket with shir open and a graphic tee popping out looks casual and very young.
